Each ring has a clear protective coating. Over time, this coating will wear off and the color of the ring may change.
Copper also reacts to your skin and may turn your skin a greenish/ blue color. This color is harmless and will wash off. To avoid these issues, apply a clear coat of nail polish periodically.
These rings are not recommended if you have sensitivities to copper.
